If the rest of 2015 turns out to be as fantastic as the month of January, I'm in for quite a treat! This first month has been chock full of successes, promising developments, and confidence-boosting events. Here's what's new:
Here's the ten-minute video montage that got me to the finals for the JSOM Travel Competition!
- I passed the "pre-screening" round and have been invited to pass a live audition for the Doctor of Music degree at Indiana University. Even though I am currently a student at IU, the pre-screening process is incredibly competitive and it is an honor to be invited to audition in person. The audition and interview process takes place March 2-3.
- I am a finalist for the Jacobs School of Music Travel Grant Competition! The first round involved a 10-minute long video recording (see below), and the final round (in Ford Hall on February 28th) will be a 20-minute performance. Please come support me!
- On February 5th, I will be the featured musician on the public broadcasting show, "Full Circle" (for information, check out www.fullcircleshow.net). I'll be playing excerpts of a Beethoven Sonata and Schumann's Carnaval. Updates to come on when the show airs and how to check out the performances!
